LANACO and the Cyber Readiness Institute Launch a Cybersecurity Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina

During the prestigious CEO Exchange conference in New York, which brought together leaders of some of the largest U.S. companies, a Letter of Intent was signed between LANACO and the Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI). Headquartered in New York, CRI is dedicated to strengthening corporate cyber readiness in order to safeguard the resilience of global supply chains.

The Letter of Intent was signed by Dragan Ninić, Vice President for Strategic Development at LANACO, and Chris Caine, President of the Center for Global Enterprise (CGE), in the presence of Sasha R. Pailet Koff, Executive Director of CRI, an organization operating under CGE with responsibility for cybersecurity initiatives. CRI is supported by leading global corporations, including Apple, Microsoft, Mastercard, and T-Mobile.

The partnership focuses on the joint launch of a new global CRI presence model through the Cyber Readiness Institute – Local Chapter initiative. This innovative concept, initiated by LANACO, introduces a regional approach to strengthening cyber resilience while fully taking into account local specificities identified through global research. The model integrates educational, technological, and project-based elements of cybersecurity, making it comprehensive and applicable in real business environments.

Thanks to the proactive engagement of LANACO, the pilot project will be implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The initiative represents a joint investment by CRI and LANACO in strengthening the cyber readiness of companies and public institutions in the country. Following the completion of the pilot phase and a joint evaluation of results, the concept is planned to expand to other countries in the region, including Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

“I would like to thank CRI for the partnership on this important project. This Letter of Intent further confirms LANACO’s expertise, now recognized by organizations supported by global leaders such as Microsoft, Apple, Mastercard, and T-Mobile. We are launching a project with strong potential to deliver real, tangible impact on improving global cyber readiness, while carefully addressing regional needs. More details will soon be shared with the business community in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Dragan Ninić, Vice President for Strategic Development at LANACO.

Within this partnership, CRI will provide strategic oversight of the program, define key objectives, and monitor implementation progress. CRI will also deliver its core cyber readiness program, including tools, training materials, and trainer certification processes designed to help organizations build a strong cybersecurity culture.

As the regional partner, LANACO will lead all local activities—from adapting and implementing the CRI methodology, to education initiatives, recruitment of small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in the program, organization of training sessions, and on-the-ground project execution in line with user needs.

“CRI is committed to developing accessible, free, and practical tools that help small and medium-sized enterprises strengthen their cyber resilience. We are proud to launch this new, localized model in partnership with LANACO, a regional leader in cybersecurity,” said Sasha R. Pailet Koff, Executive Director of the Cyber Readiness Institute.
