LANACO Signs Strategic Agreement with APSCA to Co-Develop a Global Data-Sharing Platform
LANACO has made another significant step on the international stage by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA) and the Digital Supply Chain Institute (DSCI), a non-profit organization dedicated to innovation in digital supply chains.
The Memorandum was signed by Dragan Ninić, Vice President for Strategic Development at LANACO, and Craig Moss, a member of the APSCA Board of Directors, which also includes representatives of global corporations such as Walt Disney, Coca-Cola, and Walmart.
The pilot project focuses on testing feasibility and assessing whether data-sharing models, based on the DSCI data exchange framework, can deliver meaningful insights into local compliance trends, auditor capacity, and systemic risks. The results will support an evaluation of opportunities for deeper collaboration or the expansion of the initiative in the future.
“APSCA views this pilot project as an opportunity to learn—both about data capabilities and about how we can better support our members going forward. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with DSCI and LANACO as we explore responsible digital evolution within our sector,” said Ross Nova, President and Chief Executive Officer of APSCA.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to responsible digital innovation within the social compliance ecosystem. The initiative also highlights the growing interest in using data to support the professionalization and long-term effectiveness of auditors.
“I would like to thank APSCA for the trust shown and for recognizing LANACO’s potential to deliver measurable value by applying our technology within the DSCI data exchange framework. Through this pilot project, we aim to generate tangible business benefits for more than 5,000 independent social compliance auditors worldwide. It is precisely projects like these that offer a genuine opportunity for global impact. Contributing our digital expertise, technological capabilities, and conceptual innovation to such a strategically important and complex initiative is an honor for us. As always, LANACO remains committed to innovation and to creating additional digital value for users around the world,” said Dragan Ninić, Vice President for Strategic Development at LANACO, expressing optimism about the partnership.
DSCI will lead the design and implementation of the pilot project, supporting APSCA and LANACO by applying its proven data exchange framework to enable secure and compliant data sharing, assisting in the identification of relevant internal and external data sets, and advising on how lessons learned from the pilot can inform broader digital transformation strategies.
“The DSCI data exchange framework enables secure, ethical, and mutually beneficial data sharing, which is essential in today’s interconnected digital economy. This pilot project is not only about data—it is about creating a trusted, repeatable model for value exchange in the digital economy. We are proud to support APSCA in building a future-ready ecosystem and look forward to demonstrating how the DSCI framework can help organizations unlock the true value of their data,” said Marko Kovačević, Executive Director of DSCI.
